BobbyD - Fotocreate

Well, Christmas has come in July and I've received lots of new photos from Bobby D from a brilliant shoot we had in Southampton. I'm so excited! He very kindly let me decide which I like and pester him for specific files for my own perusal, so I thought I'd show some of them off here. It was quite a day of experimentation, which always makes for a great shoot, I find - I got the chance to try new things without worrying too much about what will necessarily work. Bobby knows a thing or two about acting, and got me pulling my best 'fierce', 'sultry' and 'shy' faces, etc, so I got a bit of a drama lesson added into the mix!

These first two are very different from my usual stuff, in that there is full eye contact toward the viewer, something I'm learning not to necessarily shy away from in my aversion to glamour-orientated images. In my humble opinion, 'Nudity + eye-contact' = something totally different from 'Nudity - eye-contact', and it's not something I like to do lightly. Anyway, I could babble on forever with my eye-contact manifesto, but I won't.

The next few are from another set we did. I think the lighting gives a dreamy, intimate quality to the images.

Brum

A couple of new photos to add.

Photographer Rob Southall (assisted by Simon Kelly) took these in his new studio space in Birmingham. It was a very enjoyable session - both are great to work with. I love this kind of lighting!

Stream and Fairy

Just another couple of photos from my trip to Dublin with Des (db_images). The first one here was immediately christened a 'fairy picture' by the make up artist, Elaine - I think it's the fingers and the twinkly light. It was taken in a rose garden - the flowers were beautiful (not that you can tell from this image...). The second was taken by a stream near Mont Usher.

There will be lots more photos to post soon, I promise! (Or so I am promised...!)

Based in Oxfordshire/London, UK (and travelling anywhere and everywhere; click on the 'travel plans' tab near the top!), I'm a dance-trained model and writer. I began modelling for a painter while completing my Masters degree and accidentally carried on. Whether traditional or experimental, from artistic nudes to fashion shots, I strive to work with artists and photographers to help create images which are memorable, beautiful, intriguing or celebratory of the female form.

I am primarily an 'art model', taking bookings directly and independently, but am also represented by commercial agencies. I enjoy versatility and take on work across the spectrum: dance/movement, lingerie, fitness, commercial, lifestyle, wedding, fashion, beauty and portraits.

I've been lucky enough to have worked with some world-renowned photographers and artists, in many different countries and locations, yet some of my favourite images were taken by enthusiastic beginners. I am available for work with photographers, painters and artists of various media, whether amateur hobbiests or experienced industry professionals, for exhibitions, commercial publication or just portfolio building. My life-long love of dance (I have trained in various/most styles from the age of 3) allows me to use my body awareness to add creativity, expressive lines, grace, character and emotion to images I'm involved with.

They lie in parallel rows,
