Talk amongst yourselves

Right, I've been told I don't keep this blog updated enough. I didn't think I was that bad, but apparently I am. Must try harder.

I'm about to have dinner now then chip off to a salsa class with Damien - it only took 5 years of convincing him to have a go (note to girls: a finely-tuned balance of praise 'You shimmy better than most girls' (this actually being true), reassurance 'Yes, straight men are allowed to have a go too' and guilt-tripping 'Don't make me dance with strangers AGAIN' is a winning formula) - but after that I will endeavour to sort my life out as regards to this blog, and you can expect updates this week (or next..ARGH!). I have a dance-themed shoot tomorrow , which is nice. I definitely don't do enough of those, although I always use my dance skills in my posing in some way. I've just been packing all my best flamenco/ballet/belly dance outfits.

I've been modelling for a year now. It's amazing how the time flies by. I always said I'd do it as long as I enjoy it, and as far as I can tell things are just getting better and better. So much so that I am considering having my own website next year. I might start with one of those lovely free ones, then work my way up to my own domain once I've figured it all out. I think it would be nice. I've been looking through some of my images (MILLIONS) and found a few I hadn't really noticed before. I always find my favourite images change depending on how long after the shoot I look at them; I absolutely love these two by Russ B, but I didn't even realise I even had them until the other day. The bluebells were amazing, weren't they?

I have so many bluebell images, from the woods near my house, and can remember exactly how it felt to be sitting there. :)

More timely images to follow just as soon as I get a chance to update things properly! Love to all! :)

Does bamboo grow in England?

Well, I didn't think so either, and we're still not completely sure exactly what it was (any horticulturalists out there, feel free to enlighten!), but look what photographer Dave Settle found! It was a very (very) early start and a short-but-sweet shoot in the gorgeous morning light. I never thought of myself as a morning person, but sometimes it's nice to have done so much by the time other people are just getting up and get a hit of fresh air. Plus Dave brought breakfast, which was nice. The light here was incredible and throwing up all sorts of colours which changed by the minute. See:
